January

  • Concept & Design Research: Researching and planning the direction of the CITIQUEST concept, Gameplay options, and Visual feel.

  • Whitepaper Development: The results of research and brainstorming will begin to be written down in the form of a Whitepaper.

  • Whitepaper & GDD Design: The design results contained in the Whitepaper will be researched and applied technically and forms the Game Development Documentation.

  • Web Design (Front End): The Website for CITIQUEST will begin to be designed in stages. For the initial stage, a Landing Page feature will be designed to mark the start of the CITIQUEST project, an auto-subscriber for email updates, and an info page for the latest news and information about CITIQUEST.

  • Design & Assets: Prepare rough assets to be applied to the Dev build.

February

  • Continue designing the Whitepaper and completing the GDD.

  • Design & Asset Development:

    • Finalize Character design

    • Alternative Character customization

    • Finalize 3D design in-game Assets (Citipoint, Questpoint)

    • 3D Develop Assets for Home/rooms feature

    • 2D Character design for NPCs

  • Engine Development:

    • Improve GPS and Gyro Reading

    • Develop Gameplay Minigames 1 (Throw Battle)

    • Weather & Daytime Cycle integration

    • Character customization integration

    • Character stat integration

  • Level Design:

    • Preparing Quest level Introduction/Tutorial I (Name/Body Customization)

  • Web (Front End):

    • Setup Landing Page + Fair Launch
